Dispersion in Shallow Water
In shallow water, the undulating surface focuses and defocuses sunlight like positive (light-collecting) and negative lenses to form caustic patterns (the bright lines of focused light) on the bottom of the basin. The pattern is reimaged by the surface waves and the light is dispersed, showing colours. Fuji Finepix S2 Pro digital SLR. Processed with Adobe Photoshop Elements.
