120° Parhelion on February 1st, 2003
The 120° parhelion on February 2003 belonged to a larger halo complex that lasted the whole morning, comprising a circumzenithal arc, a supralateral arc, a 22° halo and very bright parhelia. The parhelic circle remained invisible. The position of the 120° parhelion was measured and confirmed with a comparism to star positions from the same spot. The diffraction fringe was visually quite obvious.
