Hoar Frost Crystals on January 5th, 2010
Hoar frost crystals often take on the shape of irregular columns or grains. Sometimes they grow in the shape of fans or, in this case, rose made of massive or hollow hexagonal plates and columns. Very often they are pyramidal.
