Blue Mountains in Carinthia
Scattering makes shadows appear bluish. Multiple scattering increasingly whitens the more distant mountains. The image was taken at Greifenburg, Carinthia, in October 2005. Canon Powershot S80, processed with Adobe Photoshop Elements.
