120° Parhelion on February 10th, 2008
On February 10th, 2008, a 120° parhelion showing a reddish diffraction fringe could be seen for about 10 minutes. A little earlier been very strong and colourful parhelia and fragments of an upper tangent arc, a Parry arc and a supralateral arc could be observed, but the parhelic circle was absent. The image is processed in order to to show the colour that was very obvious to the bare eye. Nikon D80, processed with Adobe Photoshop Elements.
