Parhelic Circle and 120° Parhelia on April 20th, 2015
On the morning of April 20th, 2015, a very bright parhelic circle and unusually bright 120° parhelia could be seen. The cirrus clouds dissolved after roughly an hour. No other halos except a faint 22° halo and upper tangent arc as well as a normal right parhelion made their appearance. The right 120° parhelion and the parhelic circle were so bright that distinct colour fringes could be observed.
