Zero Order Glow on August 10th, 2008
On the evening of August 10th, 2008 the western sky showed intense colours due to zero order glow - in the opposite direction a strong red rainbow and its secondary were visible. The zero order glow is produced by rays that leave the droplets without being reflected. They contribute to a diffuse glow.
