Sirius Gallery
Bad seeing is normally last thing stargazers want, but out-of-focus images may nevertheless be aesthetically pleasing with their sparkling colours. Sirius, always very low in the sky in Central Europe, is the ideal object for photographic experiments. 7-inch f/11 Takahashi Mewlon Dall-Kirkham reflector. Canon Powershot G2 digital camera, 1/50 second at 400 ISO. Processed with Adobe Photoshop 5.0 LE and Adobe Elements.
