Rainbow on July 2nd, 2008
The rainbow of July 2nd was remarkable because of its supernumeraries that resembled those of a split (twinned bow). The supernumeraries were not limited to the top of the bow and had a fan-like appearance. The rainbow was visible even before it started to rain. The following shower was a soft one, but it there may have been melting graupel grains.
